The mists close in over Barovia and the most fearsome monsters of Ravenloft are on the prowl. Horrified: Dungeons & Dragons Ravenloft is a cooperative game in which one to five heroes join forces to protect the townsfolk and drive back nightmarish creatures. Together, you must devise a plan, gather the right items and act fast before terror takes over.
Every game pits you against four monsters with unique behaviours: Strahd, the Dark Lord of Barovia, the murderous Carrionette, the witch Baba Lysaga and her walking hut, and the Gulthias Tree. You play as five new hero classes, from the Ranger to the Druid, along with the Sorcerer, Paladin and Warlock, each with abilities activated by the roll of your twenty-sided die.
You will probably love Horrified: Dungeons & Dragons Ravenloft if you enjoy cooperative horror games, the Dungeons & Dragons universe and the tension of a race against the clock. It is a great gateway into cooperative gaming for families and groups of friends alike.
Good news for collectors: this standalone box plays on its own, but it also combines with Horrified: Dungeons & Dragons and the other titles in the Horrified series to mix monsters and heroes endlessly.
