In Grow Sky (FR), you become the master of a flying ship and build your engine, both literally and figuratively. Your goal: become the best captain of the skies by flying and upgrading your steampunk-style airship, in a poetic setting where mechanical birds drift among the clouds.

Each round, players roll and draft dice that determine their ship's actions: fly to gather resources and medals, upgrade the ship for more effective actions later on, or go on standby to refill resources. Each action has its own little mechanic, from filling polyomino-style parts in the engine room to the upgradable rondel of your flight track. As the game goes on, you work to complete route missions, which reward only the first player to finish them, and goal missions, which rank players by order of completion. The game ends when someone gains 15 or more medals or fills their engine room, and the player with the most medals wins.

Grow Sky is for you if you enjoy engine-building games where every turn hints at a long-term plan, if you like dice games that leave real room for strategy, or if you want a game that plays just as well solo as with up to four players.

The game was born from a Japanese Kickstarter campaign and won over hundreds of backers. Its dice rolling and drafting, combined with upgrading your ship, makes every game different, with a play time of 45 to 90 minutes.
