Floe is an adventure strategy game that sends you questing across an icy landscape. You uncover long-lost secrets on uncharted icebergs, sail the seas in search of sunken treasure and delve into perilous caves to find precious crystals and battle fearsome monsters. You are not alone: your loyal familiar can help gather resources or jump into the fray. Along the way, your hero gains allies, powerful abilities and rare items, and can even build shrines across the map. But beware of the cold: almost everything you do outside the village costs you warmth. You will need to return to warm up, improve your homestead, buy upgrades and prepare for your next big expedition.

Movement from region to region follows the natural shapes of the ice and the sea: no grid to count. After each game, you unlock Floe Stone stickers to track your village's progress and, by reaching certain milestones, you open envelopes that bring new gameplay experiences and reveal the lore of the Crystal Kingdom. A true exploration game that evolves from one game to the next.

You will probably enjoy Floe if you love adventure, resource management and heroes that grow stronger game after game. It is also a great fit if you are looking for a rich solo game, playable with 1 to 4 players, with a wintry theme and a world that changes with your discoveries.

Floe plays solo as well as with a group, and an expansion, Floe: Monsters Unleashed, already exists to extend the adventure.

Floe is designed by Henry Audubon, Jonny Pac and Yoma, with illustrations by Andrew Bosley.
