Climb aboard your very own Firefly-class transport ship and take the helm in this big-box space adventure board game inspired by the cult series created by Joss Whedon. Firefly: The Game puts you in the boots of a captain desperate for work at the edge of the 'Verse. You travel from world to world, hiring a crew of hired guns, mechanics and lost souls, upgrading your ship and picking up cargo to deliver. Some jobs are clean, others far less so: illegal goods, double-dealing employers and Alliance searches are all in a day's work.

Every move plays out by flipping full-burn cards, where the quiet emptiness of space is just as likely as an Alliance cruiser, an engine breakdown or, worse yet, the dreaded Reavers. The goal: complete the objectives of a story card before the other captains do. It is a true narrative sandbox where strategy, risk management and a bit of bluffing blend into full immersion in the Firefly universe.

Firefly: The Game is for you if you are a fan of the show, if you love big thematic boxes packed with components, and if you are after a long, rich and story-driven experience. It is worth noting the recognition it earned: Firefly: The Game was a finalist for the Golden Geek Best Thematic Board Game in 2013, an honor that confirms the strength of its immersion. Fun fact, the game faithfully recreates the show's spirit of smuggling and scrappy survival, right down to the beloved colorful bills that make collectors smile.

The game was designed by the trio Aaron Dill, John Kovaleski and Sean Sweigart, who built an open adventure system tailored to the Firefly universe.
