In Drops of Evil, you play a witch competing against fellow witches to brew the most powerful poison in the forest. Each round has two parts: first, you send your Familiars to gather ingredients from the forest spaces, which are limited, then you place your haul in your Alchilab, an alchemical device where each cell amplifies toxicity in its own way.

Poisonous roots, black mushrooms, lethal berries: the value of each ingredient depends on where you set it down. Land the right patterns to trigger bonuses, recruit shady Assistants with special abilities and follow grim Recipes that earn you points. At the end of the game, the witch whose poison is the most toxic takes the win.

Drops of Evil is for you if you enjoy worker placement blended with grid pattern building, tight choices and intermediate strategy games of about an hour, all wrapped in a dark, humour-filled witch-themed game atmosphere.

The game was designed by Hjalmar Hach and Lorenzo Silva, with illustrations by Weberson Santiago.
