Dorfromantik: Sakura takes you exploring the enchanting landscapes of Japan, as the standalone sequel to the celebrated Dorfromantik: The Board Game, winner of the 2023 Spiel des Jahres. Working together, you place hexagonal tiles to grow rice fields, villages, roads and rivers while completing the goals that earn you points. The big new addition in this adventure: cherry blossoms, which beautify the landscape and also act as currency to unlock upgrades or activate special tiles. Like the rest of the series, this cooperative tile-laying game builds on an evolving campaign: more than 40 achievements are hidden inside 6 secret boxes, which you open as you play to unlock new tiles and new challenges.
