Welcome to Dinosaur Island, the island where science pulled off the impossible: bringing dinosaurs back to life. In this theme park management game, you take on the role of a park manager who must recreate, season after season, creatures long extinct from the Jurassic, Triassic and Cretaceous periods by combining the right DNA sequences. Build too small an enclosure, or skimp on security, and your visitors might just become the next meal for a hungry Velociraptor.

Dinosaur Island is a worker placement game where every decision matters: hire the right personnel, build the most profitable attractions, and bet on which dino recipes will draw the biggest crowds. Every game starts with two Plot-Twist cards that shake up the usual rules, plus unique Objective cards that force players to keep adapting. The result: no two games play the same, and the tension rises as enclosures fill up with dinosaurs that get bigger and more dangerous by the season.

The game ends the moment a round wraps up with only one Objective card left. Players then tally their victory points, and the manager with the most profitable (and best-guarded) park wins the game.

Dinosaur Island was designed by Jon Gilmour, also known for co-creating Dead of Winter, and Brian Lewis. The retro, colorful artwork on the board and box comes from Kwanchai Moriya and Anthony Wocken.
