For a thousand years, the Mad King has sat atop his throne, bored after centuries of victory. Every year he hosts a tournament of champions, with the greatest prize a hero could ever want on the line: the Throne itself. In Dice Throne: Season One, you command one of six distinct heroes - Barbarian, Moon Elf, Pyromancer, Shadow Thief, Monk, or Paladin - and battle your rivals in duels, teams, or free-for-alls. Each hero comes with its own board, custom dice, and an exclusive deck, so no two matches ever play the same.

On your turn you roll your five custom dice, up to three times, to trigger attacks and activate your hero's abilities. Combat points earned along the way let you buy combat cards that upgrade your board, apply status effects, or directly manipulate your opponent's dice. Between probability math, bluffing, and resource management, every clash tests both your tactics and your nerves.

The game was created by Nate Chatellier and Manny Trembley, who also handled all of the artwork. The duo went on to expand the universe with Dice Throne: Season Two and Marvel Dice Throne, which explains the visual and mechanical consistency found across the entire line.
