Mémoire ancestrale Dice - 7D Set

Grandpa Gontran had a legendary memory. He remembered the name of every dragon in the valley, every treasure hidden for three generations and the exact price of bread in the year 412.

He never remembered where he put his glasses, though.

Before leaving for the great dungeon in the sky, Gontran wanted to pass all his knowledge on to his grandchildren. So he hired a witch to seal his memories inside a sacred object.

(The Dungeon Master, checking their notes: Okay, the memory transfer… 12%… 47%… Oh no. Way too many anecdotes about the price of bread. We’re going to have to compress.)

The witch compressed. A lot. The memories took on the colour of old wood, over-steeped tea and yellowed photos, and froze into seven translucent smoky brown dice, engraved with ornate white numbers like the margins of an old family grimoire.

(The Dungeon Master, writing it down in their notebook: “Back in my day…” Your ancestors now have an opinion on every single roll.)

The Mémoire ancestrale dice (“ancestral memory”) were born. When you roll them, they say you can hear Grandpa Gontran muttering that things were better before. And if your character forgot an important clue, these dice remember. They still don’t know where the glasses are.

With their translucent smoky brown and finely ornate white numbers, these acrylic polyhedral dice are perfect for your Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder or any roleplaying game (RPG) where old legends come back to haunt the present. A dice set full of wisdom and rambling.
