Mister Gazon, the gnome, had the most beautiful lawn in the kingdom. Perfectly green. Trimmed to the millimetre, with scissors. Every morning, he inspected it with a magnifying glass.
One day, he saw a dandelion.
(The Dungeon Master, checking their notes: A wild dandelion appears. It looks harmless. Mister Gazon rolls initiative anyway.)
Mister Gazon pulled it out. The next day, there were two. Then ten. Then a hundred. He tried the shovel, the rake, a fire spell (bad idea, his fence burned too). He even went to ask Abuela Pepita, the garden witch of the Casa des concombres, for advice. She laughed for ten minutes, then told him: “Sweetheart, you don’t fight dandelions. You negotiate with them.”
So Mister Gazon proposed a dice duel. If he won, the dandelions would leave. If they won, they’d stay. The dandelions, having no hands, chose to turn themselves into dice: thirty-six little meadow-green and teal cubes, glittering with golden pollen.
(The Dungeon Master, with a smirk: The dandelions win. Obviously. There are 36 of them and only one of you.)
The Jardin de pissenlits dice (“dandelion garden”) were born. Mister Gazon eventually learned to love his yellow and green lawn. And his dice. Especially his dice.
These thirty-six 12mm D6 dice in glittering green and teal marbled acrylic with gold pips are perfect for massive damage rolls and area spells in your Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, Warhammer or any board game or roleplaying game (RPG). A big set of six-sided dice that grows everywhere… in a good way.
