Tonight, the atmosphere at the queen's banquet is already electric, and now new characters are joining the table to shake things up even more. Diplomats and Confidants adds two brand new roles to Courtisans: the Diplomat, a master manipulator who steals a card directly from a play zone, and the Confidant, who lets you chain actions by playing a second card in the same zone to pull off spectacular combos.

These new powers dramatically raise the level of player interaction: carefully laid plans can flip in an instant, and alliances become precious, but fragile. The expansion also lets you seat up to 6 players at the table and introduces a team mode, where the final score depends on the weaker partner in each duo, forcing cooperation as much as cunning.

You will probably love Diplomats and Confidants if you already own Courtisans and want to spice up your party game nights with even more bluffing and backstabbing. This expansion is a great fit for larger groups who want to seat more players at the table, or for anyone eager to try the new team mode, where coordinating with your partner becomes the key to victory.

Easy to add to your games, the expansion boils down to shuffling its 18 new cards into the base deck to enjoy the new content right away: no complicated rules to learn, just fresh bluffing and hand management levers to master. Courtisans, the base game, was itself nominated for a Golden Geek Award in the Best Party Game category.

Diplomats and Confidants is designed by Romaric Galonnier and Anthony Perone, the creators of Courtisans, with artist Noemie Chevalier continuing the base game's art direction.
