Can an image feel heavy? Can a colour seem light? Can a shape suggest strength or delicacy? In Contrast, every image can be interpreted in different ways. Your goal is not simply to choose the best answer, but to predict what most other players will choose.

Each round, an image card is revealed while players select from twelve possible symbols representing different concepts: round, square, big, small, thick, thin, blue, green, red, yellow, heavy, and light. Everyone secretly chooses the symbol that best matches the image. Once revealed, only the symbol selected by the majority scores points.

This simple concept creates fascinating and often hilarious conversations. Why does one player see an image as light while another considers it heavy? Why does it evoke red rather than yellow? Every game becomes an exploration of shared perception and collective thinking.

You will enjoy Contrast if you love party games, social experiences, and challenges that require understanding how other people think. Easy to learn and quick to play, it works equally well with families, friends, and mixed groups of players.

Interesting fact: Contrast is built around visual perception and association. Two people looking at exactly the same image can reach completely different conclusions, making every game session unique.
