Colt Express : Horses & Stagecoach - Exp. (pré-joué (EN)

The games in the L'As des jeux Bazar are pre-played games. They have been inspected by one of our game experts and are certified "Complete." You may find some minor imperfections, such as light wear on the box or on certain game components.

The Colt Express train keeps thundering across the Wild West, but this time a treasure-loaded 3D stagecoach rides right alongside the cars. With Horses & Stagecoach, your bandits saddle up on horses to gallop from one end of the train to the other and leap straight into the stagecoach, guarded by a gunslinger you'll need to punch off his post. Inside wait passengers to take hostage: a nice ransom at the end of the game, but dead weight to drag around for the rest of the round. Toss in whisky flasks that give the outlaws' abilities a little kick, brand-new Round cards and a fresh event, and every heist gets more unpredictable than ever.

Horses & Stagecoach is for you if you've already robbed the Colt Express train once or twice and want to raise the stakes for your next heist night. This expansion suits groups who like calculated risks: chase the stagecoach for a big payday, but accept that a hostage might slow you down. Bluffing and memory fans will find even more bandits to track, more routes to plan and more chances to flip a round in their favor at the last second.

Horses & Stagecoach was the very first expansion released for Colt Express, arriving in 2015, the same year the base game won the prestigious Spiel des Jahres (Game of the Year in Germany). On BoardGameGeek, the expansion holds an average rating of 7.4/10 from more than 2,800 players, proof that it won over the community almost as fast as the original game did.

This expansion comes from Christophe Raimbault, the same designer behind the original Colt Express, joined once again by illustrator Jordi Valbuena, who brings back the same western train atmosphere.

Horses & Stagecoach isn't a standalone game: you'll need the English base game Colt Express to play, since this box only adds new components and new rules to the original game.
