Once upon a time, 50 new words wandered into your games! This Codenames (FR) expansion sends your teams into the world of fairy tales: Red Riding Hood, Captain Hook and the land of Oz might all end up on the same grid. Your spymasters must find the one-word clue that makes their team guess the right agents, without hitting the assassin.

The idea is simple: mix the new cards into the words of the base game, randomly or in any ratio you like, or play two full games using only the 25 cards in this mini expansion. It works with Codenames (FR) as well as Codenames Duo (FR), and its 4 new illustrations also enrich Codenames Images (FR).

This expansion is for you if you already own Codenames and want to refresh your grids with a fairy-tale theme, or if your group loves word games and clues that make everyone smile. It sets up in seconds and slips easily into the box.

Fun fact: the 3 included Agent tiles, one of them for Codenames Duo, let you customize your games even further, and the double-sided cards give you two full themed games all on their own.

Codenames and its expansions are designed by Vlaada Chvátil, creator of the original game. The artwork is by David Jablonovský, Štěpán Drašťák, Jana Kilianová, František Sedláček and Martin "Skam" Krejčí.

To play: a copy of Codenames (FR) or Codenames Duo (FR) is required. This expansion cannot be played on its own.
