ClueBox / Schrodinger's Cat (EN)
- In stock, ready to ship
With its 52 laser-cut birch wood pieces sealed with oil, this puzzle box is the very first release in German manufacturer iDventure's Cluebox collection, designed as the entry point before the series' trickier boxes. The concept is drawn directly from physicist Erwin Schrodinger's thought experiment, where a cat locked inside a box would, according to quantum mechanics, be both alive and dead as long as the box stays closed. Budget 45 to 60 minutes to work through the sequential puzzles and free the cat, solo or with a partner, from age 14 and up.
Once solved, this Cluebox puzzle resets completely: just rebuild the mechanism to hand it off to another player without ever losing its function. Once every puzzle is beaten, the box reveals a secret compartment large enough to hide a small piece of jewelry, a bill, or any other surprise for whoever solves it.
DIMENSIONS: Closed box: 11 x 11 x 12 cm. Secret compartment (once solved): 1.5 x 4.5 x 7.5 cm.
