Charmed Cottage opens the door to a round cottage straight out of a storybook, where magic hides in every corner. On a large wooden desk, a spellbook lies open next to a quill, an inkwell and vividly colored potion bottles, while rolled up scrolls sit scattered about. An owl stands watch, perched on the back of a chair draped with a purple wizard's hat, while a little green sleeping dragon curls up on a cushion near the stone fireplace where a fire crackles beneath a black cauldron. Bookshelves overflowing with books line the walls, a round blue door opens onto a view of mountains and purple blossoms, and a candle chandelier softly lights the room over a patterned blue rug. Every detail tells a story, as though the owner of this enchanted cottage had just stepped out for a breath of fresh air.

This 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle was completed during the Teams Qualifier Round of the 2025 USA Jigsaw Nationals speed-puzzling competition, a nod to a scene loved by fantasy fans and seasoned puzzlers alike.

The scene comes from illustrator Nathanael Mortensen, known for warm, detailed worlds that blend fantasy with everyday life, a style found across several similarly cozy jigsaw puzzles.
