A powerful Old World country threatens Catan's freedom and independence: over three chapters, players take on the role of commanders of the Catanian troops and join forces to drive the conquerors away and protect the island.

This scenario expansion adds brand new game elements that call for deeper strategic thinking, offering the most intense challenge yet for fans of the series.
