Canvas - 2nd Edition (EN)

In Canvas 2nd Edition, you become a painter competing in a prestigious art festival. The concept is as simple as it is clever: you stack transparent cards on top of one another to reveal or hide icons, creating a unique painting -- complete with its own title -- every single time. This layering of transparent cards is the game's signature mechanic, and there is really nothing quite like it on the market. This 2nd edition brings together, for the first time in a single box, the base game along with the Reflections and Finishing Touches expansions, plus the reversible Mirror Cards that multiply the possible combinations even further. Once your masterpiece is complete, you slide it into a frame and display it on the gallery wall, where players compete for the best spots to show off their talent.

Canvas 2nd Edition is for you if you love games where creativity matters just as much as strategy. Every game produces a different visual result, and there is real satisfaction in watching your painting take shape right in front of you. The game plays just as well in solo mode as it does in a group, from 1 to 5 players, making it a great pick for family game nights or a relaxing creative break on your own.

Here's a fun fact: this 2nd edition is not just a reprint. For the first time, it brings together the complete experience of the original Canvas plus its two expansions, Reflections and Finishing Touches, into a single box -- a real treat for fans who want everything on hand without stacking extra boxes on their shelf.

Canvas was designed by Jeffrey Chin and Andrew Nerger, the duo behind this original card-layering mechanic, with colorful illustrations by Luan Huynh.
