Entremonde has become the hottest tourist destination around, and you're running a rather unusual travel agency that caters to guests who are anything but ordinary. To outshine the competition, you'll need to build the most bizarre manor in town, room by room, while satisfying the picky demands of the architect, the finicky taste of the decorator, and the secret requests of your mystery guests.

Manoir Bizarre (FR) is a card placement game played over six rounds. Each round, you draw a hand of cards showing bedrooms, lounges, strange gardens, or ritual rooms, pick one to add to your manor, then pass the rest to your neighbours - a drafting system that keeps everyone watching for the best rooms. Every new room must connect back to the entrance hall through a staircase, a ladder, or a side opening: at the final inauguration, only the rooms actually reachable from the entrance will count. Some cards trigger special effects too - a mystery guest revealing themselves, an architect bonus unlocking - adding a dash of surprise to every game.

With 9 replayable scenarios, each rewarding a different way to score points, Manoir Bizarre never plays the same way twice: one night you'll chase complete staircases, the next you'll go after rare emblems or the strangest guests in town. Its whimsical, darkly funny atmosphere, brought to life through vivid illustrations, makes it a perfect party game for family game nights or get-togethers with friends.

Before becoming Manoir Bizarre at Bombyx, the game was known as Grand Manoir Bizarre and had already caught the jury's eye at the FLIP (Festival Ludique International de Parthenay), which awarded it the 2023 Creators' Trophy in the Entertainment category - solid recognition for a prototype, well before its official release.

The duo behind Manoir Bizarre, Louis Blaise and Justine Vanhuffel, also created Casque Cheque Chat, a party game where players guess expressions purely from the sound of words. The artwork comes from Marin Duret (also known as Catstyle), whose colourful, slightly fantastical style brings Entremonde's strangest creatures to life.
