Tie game, bottom of the ninth: the home team must score one run before recording three outs. Bottom of the 9th packs all the tension of a baseball game into a 5 to 20 minute duel. The pitcher secretly picks the pitch location and rolls the dice; the batter tries to read their opponent, anticipate the pitch and move runners around the bases. Bluffing, deduction and dice rolls: every at-bat becomes a moment of truth, right up to the winning run or the final out.

This copy includes the base game and its first two expansions. Big League Support adds 12 team personnel cards: general managers, a trainer and even mascots. Sentinels of the Ninth brings 12 heroes from the Sentinels of the Multiverse universe to the diamond, where Legacy and Haka trade supervillains for fastballs. Plenty of material to refresh your lineups for a long time! Designed by Mike Mullins and Darrell Louder, this dice and card game also features a solo mode by veteran designer Richard Launius and artwork by Adam McIver in classic retro baseball card style.

Fun fact: the game was a finalist for the 2015 Golden Geek Award for Best 2-Player Board Game, and the expansion cards come foil-wrapped, a nod to the baseball card packs of yesteryear.
