Andromeda's Edge: Escalation is the definitive expansion for players who want to experience everything the galaxy has to offer. Three asymmetric factions - the Darkstar Acolytes, Nebulon Cloudpeople and Krawln - introduce fresh playstyles and new tactical opportunities. Face the fearsome Void Drake, explore the mysterious Nethervoid region, discover Ancient Moons and strengthen your station with powerful Relic modules. New ship upgrades and the Shadows of the Void event deck further increase replayability by adding more strategic variety to every session.

The expansion's biggest addition is its robust solo mode featuring Unity, the oppressive regime from which your faction escaped. Nine unique AI-controlled Unity leaders provide different strategies and difficulty levels, creating highly replayable solo games. Unity can also be added to multiplayer sessions, introducing a neutral opponent that increases tension and unpredictability without replacing a human player.
