A ferocious beast dwells in the castle! At least, that's what the misinformed villagers believe. You know better, since you live there. The cursed lord of this isolated citadel is in danger, and it's up to you to mount a fierce defense against everyone marching on the Beast's castle. 20 Strong: Tanglewoods Rose Deck is a solo expansion inspired by Beauty and the Beast for the 20 Strong system, where you pick a hero and drive off the attackers before time runs out.

The only dark menace in the forest is the hearts of those who wish harm upon the peaceful occupants of the castle. Your goal: convince them to turn back and return to their villages, ushering them into the Rose Garden to keep the cursed lord safe. You move through a deck of cards, roll dice to meet each challenge and put all that scholarly reading to work. The cards are flippable and reveal different gameplay elements depending on which side is faceup.

Tanglewoods Rose is for you if you enjoy solo dice games, a solo game that plays in 30 to 45 minutes and reimagined fairy tales. You will likely enjoy this deck if you like managing your dice, making decisions under pressure and defending an enchanted castle against all odds.

Fun fact: Rose is a new take on a familiar world, making its debut in the 20 Strong system with the exquisite art of Manny Trembley. The deck is part of the Tanglewoods trilogy.

Josh J. Carlson and Logan Giannini are credited with the design of this expansion, and Serena Schiani and Manny Trembley with the art. Manny Trembley is the creator of the Tanglewoods universe.

What you need to play: a 20 Strong base game is required (for example 20 Strong: Solar Sentinels Base Game (EN)).
