In Nidavellir, the Dwarf Kingdom stands on the brink of disaster. The mighty dragon Fafnir threatens the realm, and the King has appointed the most respected Elvalands to recruit the finest dwarves in the land. Your mission is to travel from tavern to tavern, gather powerful allies, and build the greatest battalion the kingdom has ever seen.
Each round, players secretly bid gold coins across several taverns. The highest bids gain access to the most valuable recruits before opponents can claim them. Every dwarf belongs to a specific class - warrior, hunter, blacksmith, explorer, or miner - and each class scores in a unique way. Success depends on creating the right combinations while adapting to the opportunities available.
One of the game's most celebrated features is its innovative coin-building system. By combining coin values, players can upgrade their treasury and gain access to stronger bids later in the game. This creates a fascinating balance between economic growth and military recruitment.
