Eclipse - Second Dawn for the Galaxy (EN)

Take the helm of a vast interstellar civilization and lead it to conquer the galaxy. In Eclipse - Second Dawn for the Galaxy, a space strategy game for 2 to 6 players, you explore new star systems, research technologies, build spaceships and wage war on your rivals. This revised and upgraded edition of the base game that debuted in 2011 is a grand 4X game with many potential paths to victory.

It is up to you to plan your strategy around the strengths and weaknesses of your species, while paying attention to the endeavors of the other civilizations. Sector tiles join the galaxy as you explore, tech trees shape your ships and battles are settled with custom combat dice. This version brings a new graphic design that keeps the acclaimed symbology of the first edition, a full line of miniatures, custom plastic inlays and fine-tuned gameplay.

Eclipse is for you if you enjoy civilization games, space exploration, technology management and long 60 to 200 minute games where every decision counts. Experienced players looking for a dense strategy game will feel right at home.

The game was designed by Touko Tahkokallio, with artwork by Kory Lynn Hubbel, Jere Kasanen, Jukka Rajaniemi and Sampo Sikiö.
