Wispwood (EN)

Wispwood invites players into an enchanted forest filled with mysterious glowing lights. Drawn by these colorful flickers, a curious cat wanders into the woods… and you follow. In this accessible strategy board game, you gradually build your own magical forest by carefully placing glowing wisps in your personal grid.

Each turn, you select a wisp tile and a shape to add to your forest. Every wisp has its own preferences about where it wants to shine. Some prefer certain trees, while others reward specific arrangements in your grid. Your goal is to satisfy their wishes to score points across three scoring rounds.

But the forest is alive. Between rounds it shifts and expands, opening new possibilities while the wisps you already placed remain, shaping future decisions. This evolving system of pattern building and tile placement creates a satisfying puzzle where every move matters.

Variable goal cards change the wisps’ desires from game to game, ensuring every forest grows in a unique way. Each play becomes a fresh challenge where creativity, planning, and clever placement determine who builds the brightest woodland.
