Each player controls a growing wolf pack competing to expand its influence by recruiting lone wolves, hunting prey, and controlling key regions of the map. But survival alone is not enough in this harsh environment. To win, players must establish the largest and most dominant pack before rival wolves seize control of the wilderness.

The game immediately stands out thanks to its highly original action-selection system. Every action requires players to flip Terrain tiles matching the terrain where they wish to act. Because these tiles are double-sided, every decision directly affects the actions available during future turns. This clever mechanism creates constant long-term planning where players must anticipate future opportunities while reacting to enemy movements. As the game progresses, packs unlock stronger abilities that allow for more aggressive actions, faster movement, and greater territorial influence.
