At the end of the 19th century, El Paso became a major hub for the cattle trade. Five railroad companies connected the Sun City, attracting ranchers from Texas and Mexico eager to ship their herds across the country.

In Great Western Trail: El Paso, you take the role of a rancher striving for wealth and victory points. On each turn, you move your herder along the trail, play actions, hire workers, buy cattle, or construct buildings. Every time you reach El Paso, you deliver your herd to trading posts, earn money, and unlock new abilities.

El Paso keeps the DNA of the trilogy but offers a shorter, more accessible experience. It’s perfect both as a gateway into Great Western Trail and as a faster game night option.

Great Western Trail: El Paso is for you if you enjoy eurogames combining deck-building, tableau construction, and tactical planning. It also includes a complete solo mode, where you face an automated opponent with its own strategy deck.
