In Bot Factory, you take charge of a very different kind of assembly line: one where robots get built piece by piece to fill the toughest orders. Draft parts, grab projects, then combine heads, torsos and legs to build ever more capable bots. Sandra, the factory manager you may remember from Kanban EV, moves between departments and occupies player spaces, constantly shaking up turn order. The game reuses that same distinctive worker placement mechanism, where your position on the board decides who acts first. Between open drafting, tile placement and a variable phase order, every round of this strategy game asks you to read the board in real time and react to what everyone else is building.

You will probably enjoy Bot Factory if you are drawn to factory management games where timing and positioning matter more than luck, and you like watching your plan come together piece by piece into a finished bot.

Bot Factory is designed by Vital Lacerda, known for dense management games like Kanban EV, Lisboa and On Mars, teaming up here with João Quintela Martins. The two designers revisit the Kanban EV universe to deliver a leaner worker-placement experience, brought to life by Pedro Soto's artwork and its cast of charming robots.
