Loop puts an ingenious spin on the classic shedding card game: the cards are dealt only once. On your turn, play a card or combination capable of beating the previous play and try to empty your hand before your opponents. At the end of the round, however, the hands move around the table. You will soon be playing cards another player just used, challenging you to achieve a better result with exactly the same resources.

That rotation turns every round into a fresh tactical puzzle. A hand that looked hopeless for one player might reveal an excellent strategy in someone else's hands. Pairs, sequences, and other combinations create a constant battle over timing, while the Direction token can reverse the hierarchy of the cards. The 8 introduces another disruptive twist, capable of making the other players pass or influencing the direction of play. The result is an approachable, interactive tactical card game packed with opportunities to prove that the problem might not have been the hand... but how it was played.

Loop is for you if you enjoy quick board games with straightforward rules that reward observation, adaptation, and clever decisions. It is particularly well suited to groups of 4 to 6 players who enjoy friendly rivalry and comparing what different players can accomplish with the same cards.

Loop's clever structure reduces the importance of the initial deal in an unusual way: throughout the game, everyone gets to tackle the same hands. Instead of simply wondering who received the strongest cards, players can compare how effectively each person used them. This rotating-hand mechanism gives this strategy card game a distinctive identity.

Loop was designed by Takashi Saito, creator of the original edition published by BrainBrainGames. This IELLO edition is illustrated by Charlène Ingouff, whose colourful artwork supports the game's playful time-travel theme.
