Two clans, a 4x4 grid and a single winner. Leda is an asymmetric duel game for two players where each leads an animal clan (cats, pandas, sharks or scorpions in the base box) with its own rules, goals and play style. Each player builds a grid of tiles, evolves it by playing the cards of their clan and develops an engine to reach their victory condition.

Each turn, an Action tile picks a zone of the grid (row, column, 2x2 square or special zone). Both players activate that same zone on their own grid, then a military conflict decides the winner and earns a victory token. The organization phase follows: play a clan card or rearrange two elements of your grid. Food, the main resource, fuels the whole machine. The game ends as soon as a player meets their clan's victory condition or the military track victory condition.

Leda is for you if you are looking for a two-player game with lots of replayability, where each clan plays very differently, and if you enjoy optimizing combos and anticipating your opponent's moves in about thirty minutes. You will probably also enjoy this strategy game for two that changes from game to game depending on the clans you choose.

Leda was designed by Pierrick Libralesso, Renaud Libralesso and Yoel Sayada, and illustrated by David Sitbon. The box includes rules in French and in English.
