Jump Masters! (EN)
- In stock, ready to ship
Jump Masters! drops you into a colorful arena where a single jump can turn the tide of battle. Inspired by Chinese checkers, this skirmish game hides a clever and highly confrontational battle beneath its adorable surface. You command a squad of heroes represented by dice: jumping over an ally restores your energy, while jumping over an opponent triggers an attack that drains both heroes involved. Chain several jumps together and you can pull off devastating turns that flip the fight in an instant.
Before the first jump, you build your own squad by drafting heroes from those available, each with a unique ability that shapes your strategy. The arena's terrain complicates your plans: some obstacles block your path, others hand you a surprising edge. Control the Hill at the center of the board to rack up victory points faster than your rivals, and be the first to reach the winning threshold to be crowned Jump Master!
You'll probably love Jump Masters! if you're after a fast, clever battle to share with two to four players, if you enjoy rethinking your strategy every turn, and if the idea of sacrificing a hero to come back stronger makes you grin. It's also a great pick for introducing new players to light strategy, thanks to simple rules that still leave plenty of room for cunning.
Jump Masters! had a standout run on the crowdfunding platform Gamefound, raising over $137,000 from nearly 2,200 backers before it even hit retail shelves. The game shares its competitive DNA with Dice Throne, its creator's hit series, promising duels just as biting but in a format that's much quicker to set up and play.
Jump Masters! was designed by Manny Trembley, who also shaped much of its visual identity, with design collaboration from Jeff Jacobson. Fans of the genre will recognize Trembley's touch, the mind behind the popular Dice Throne series, known for its colorful dice duels. Jump Masters! channels that same competitive energy into an even faster, more pint-sized format.
