The BBQ is sizzling and everyone is hungry. In Barbecubes, players take turns using the tongs to add pixelated food pieces onto a small metal grill without knocking anything off. On your turn, you reveal a card that shows which food type to place and how many grill bars it must rest on. You then lift the piece out of the tin with the tongs and carefully place it on the grill in any orientation that matches the card. As the grill fills up, every move becomes a shaky test of precision and nerve. If you drop your piece outside the tin or knock existing pieces off the grill, you take a card. If you ever have two cards, you are eliminated. Fast, tense and funny, Barbecubes is an ideal party game you can teach in seconds and play again and again, whether at home, on the road or around a real BBQ.
