Unique en son genre (FR) invites kids to discover a card game like no other: seven likeable characters - Axel, Billy, Charlie, Kai, Lou, Sacha and Taylor - are illustrated at six different ages, from 5 to 15 years old, doing all kinds of activities. On their turn, each player draws and asks an opponent for a specific card, a bit like in a classic Go Fish style game, trying to be the first to collect all six cards of the same character. As the cards come out, kids notice that one character might love knitting at one age and rollerblading at another, wear a crown or play baseball, none of it tied to a particular gender. Discussion cards, drawn along the way, then invite the child and the adult to talk about what changes - or doesn't - from one character to the next, opening the door to conversations about identity, body image and self-expression.
