The fog-covered streets of Whitechapel hide a dangerous secret. In Mr Jack Pocket, one player becomes the investigator attempting to identify Jack the Ripper, while the other takes on the role of the elusive criminal trying to remain hidden long enough to escape.

This compact edition of the acclaimed Mr Jack captures all the tension of the original game in a faster and more portable format. The board is replaced by a 3 x 3 grid of street tiles, each representing both a suspect and a section of London. Around the grid, Holmes, Watson, and the police dog patrol the streets searching for clues.

Each round offers four possible actions. Players alternate selecting actions that allow them to move detectives, rotate streets, swap tiles, or draw alibi cards. Every decision changes visibility lines and helps narrow the suspect list. The central question remains constant throughout the game: can Jack be seen or not?
