Magie des bois Dice - 7D Set

Leany is a woodcutter in Bois-Joli. Well, it says “woodcutter” on his door. In twenty years, he has never cut down a single tree: he respects the forest too much for that. Instead, he gathers fallen branches and turns them into the finest wands in the kingdom. The wizards of the Academy line up outside his cabin.

A good wand can’t be found just anywhere. Leany walks for miles every day with his black cat to find THE branch. The cat chooses, Leany carves. If the cat sits down next to a branch, it’s the right one. If the cat walks away, it isn’t. The cat walks away a lot.

(The Dungeon Master, from behind the screen: a wizard in a hurry once tried to make his own wand, with a branch snapped off the first tree he saw. His wand casts only one spell: it makes leaves grow in its owner’s ears. He now has very lovely ears.)

Then came the coldest winter in Bois-Joli’s history. Snow covered everything. Not a single branch left on the ground. And the Academy was waiting for thirty wands for the new school year. Leany and his cat walked through the storm for three days. The cat didn’t sit down anywhere.

On the fourth day, the cat sat down. In front of an old dead stump, hollow and covered in moss. Leany lifted the moss. Inside, there was no wood. There was magic: all the magic of the forest, built up over centuries, green and glittering like moss in the sun. It spread through the trees, which suddenly dropped hundreds of perfect branches, straight and almost carved already. Enough for ten school years. At the bottom of the stump were seven little green crystals, sparkling, with numbers as golden as sap.

(The Dungeon Master, with a smirk: the thirty wands were delivered on time. They’re so good that the first-year students got every spell right on the first try. The teachers find it suspicious. The cat is asking for a commission.)

The Magie des bois dice (“woodland magic”) were born. Green as a spring forest and glittering like light between the leaves, they’re perfect for druids, rangers and every player who knows how to wait for the right branch.

With their translucent glittery green acrylic and gold numbers, these polyhedral dice are perfect for your Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder or any forest roleplaying game (RPG). A dice set full of green magic.
