Catacombs adds a brand new fixed area, the Underworld, which sits alongside the base game's modular tiles to multiply the paths available in every playthrough.

Once you descend, you will find underworld markets trading rare items, while new Fate cards give you fresh ways to boost your final score. Mystical towers speed up your movement, an underground lake lets you reshape your deck on the fly, and an imp assistant can help you squeeze more value out of your secret tomes. Watch out for the screeching harpies hoarding undercoins, and above all for the Underworld Guardian, a dangerous encounter that generously rewards the thieves brave enough to face it.

This strategy game keeps the deck-building DNA that made the series a hit: every card you add makes you faster, stronger, or richer, but every noise you make ("Clank!") pulls the dragon a little closer.
