The indomitable Gauls join the Défis Nature collection! Défis Nature - Astérix (FR) is an educational card game that lets you meet the characters of the Asterix universe, from their strengths to their weaknesses. Each card shows a character with four traits (cunning, sensitivity, intelligence and fighting strength), plus a short text telling the character's story.

The idea is simple and quick to explain. Each player keeps a facedown deck. On their turn, the active player looks at their top card and picks the trait they believe is strongest, then everyone else announces the value of the same trait on their own card. The highest score wins the round and collects the cards. The first player to collect every card in the game wins! For example, with 85 sensitivity points, little Idéfix (Dogmatix) can beat Queen Cleopatra and her 35 points.

But watch out: the colored dot at the top of each card shows how much of a threat the character is to Asterix's village (green for heroes and friends, yellow for a low threat, orange for a medium threat, red for a serious threat). That threat can turn the tide in the middle of a battle! And the shiny Potion magique (Magic Potion) card adds +40 to the trait of whoever plays it, enough to flip the outcome of a showdown.

Défis Nature - Astérix (FR) is for you if you want a quick card game for 2 to 6 players, games of about 20 minutes and rules that kids aged 7 and up pick up in moments. You will also enjoy it if you are a fan of Asterix, Obelix and Dogmatix and want to find out who is the strongest, the craftiest or the smartest in the village.

The characters are illustrated in the style of the famous comic series created by René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo. The game is designed in France and made in the Drôme region, with an eco-designed approach.
