In Ark Nova: Sanctuary, you are tasked with building and managing a modern, scientifically-run zoo, filled with unique animals and projects.

With over 135 unique tiles representing animals, buildings, and projects, each game is a fresh puzzle where you must balance attraction and conservation goals.

Players use modular action cards whose strength depends on their slot position, deciding whether to play animals by habitat (forest, rock, water), expand their zoo, or develop projects.

Based on the hit game Ark Nova, this standalone version streamlines the rules, offering a faster, smoother, and more accessible experience while keeping its strategic depth.

Ark Nova: Sanctuary is for you if you enjoy thoughtful decision-making, want a more accessible version of Ark Nova, or simply want a quicker yet equally strategic alternative for game night.

While inspired by Ark Nova, Sanctuary is not an expansion but a standalone game. It is most often recommended at 3 players, according to player votes on BoardGameGeek.
