Splendor Duel is a brand new 2 player game with unique and innovative mechanics created by Marc André and Bruno Cathala. Compete against the opposing guild in a race to victory. Seize Gems and Pearls from the common board, win royal favors and prestige! Players will find certain key aspects of Splendor there: the theme of Renaissance jewellery, quality equipment and the mechanics of acquiring cards with tokens, allowing them to increase their prestige and their purchasing possibilities. However, Splendor Duel is based on completely new rules and offers new game material: a common board, Privilege figurines and Royal Favor cards. If we find the famous tokens representing precious stones, they are in a compact format and have a new resource added, pearls. Finally, the cards in the game have multiple characteristics and varied abilities, which will allow you to influence the game (extra turn, bonus token, etc.) and to achieve one of the three victory conditions.

Splendor Duel is aimed at different audiences: Splendor fans who will want to discover new game rules and try out new tactics, as well as fans of games for two, who will be able to experience a fierce and tense duel in less than 30 minutes.

This is an indie game. No other Splendor products are required to play.
