Similo: Batman takes you to Gotham for a cooperative deduction game where the whole table plays on the same team. Twelve character cards from the Batman universe are laid out in the middle of the table, and one of them is the secret character. One player becomes the Clue Giver: they know who it is and must lead everyone else to the right answer without ever saying it.

To do so, the Clue Giver plays cards from their hand as clues, stating whether they are similar to the secret character or different from it. For example, a card showing Nightwing or Poison Ivy can hint at a color, a style or a character trait, and it is up to the other players to interpret the message. After each turn, they remove one or more characters until only one remains. If it is the right one, the table wins; if it was removed by mistake, everyone loses at once. Games are quick and easy to replay.

You will probably enjoy Similo: Batman if you are a fan of Batman and the DC universe, if you are looking for an easy-to-teach card game for a family or friends night, or if you like games where everyone debates the clues out loud. The game is in English, but the cards mostly show portraits and character names.

Good to know: Similo: Batman features 30 characters from the Batman universe, and its deck is fully compatible with the other boxes in the Similo series. You can use one deck for the characters to guess and another for the clues to make games trickier.

Similo was designed by Martino Chiacchiera, Hjalmar Hach and Pierluca Zizzi, and the cards are illustrated by Xavier Gueniffey Durin, a.k.a. Naïade, who also illustrated the other boxes in the series.
