My City (FR) is a tile placement game where you build and develop your own city through various eras. Each turn, a card reveals a building that you must place on your personal board to score maximum points. The game offers a unique campaign spread over 24 episodes, where each match permanently modifies your components. This legacy game mechanism gradually introduces new rules and new challenges to overcome.
Throughout the eight chapters, you will stick stickers and unlock content hidden in sealed envelopes. Author Reiner Knizia has designed an accessible strategy game that gains depth without ever unnecessarily complicating the rules. Your choices impact subsequent games, creating a personalized playful history for your group. Once the campaign is finished, an "Eternal" mode allows you to replay endlessly with a classic and balanced board game.
My City is for you if you are looking for a legacy campaign playable in short 30-minute episodes and you appreciate simple yet tactical geometric puzzles.
My City was nominated for the prestigious Spiel des Jahres in 2020. Unlike many legacy games, it offers an 'Eternal' board side to continue playing once the campaign is finished.
