In Love Letter - Deluxe Edition, every player tries to get a letter of intent to the Princess by enlisting her allies, friends and family. Playing one card at a time, you use the abilities of these key characters to outwit your opponents, and the first to collect enough favor tokens becomes the Princess' confidant. This card game of deduction plays in about twenty minutes, with simple hand management and a few well-timed moves to trip up your rivals.

Here, presentation is what changes everything: this Deluxe Edition comes in a leather-textured storage box decorated with embossed filigree that looks great on a shelf. The cards are described as waterproof and tear-resistant, ready to play without sleeves. The 3D affection tokens are inspired by the Love Letter wax seal, and an integrated scorecard lets you record wins.

Love Letter - Deluxe Edition is for you if you love fast card games of bluffing and deduction, if you want a classic that is easy to teach for 2 to 6 players, or if you are looking for a beautiful gift for a collector or a fan of the series.

Fun fact: the box is designed as a keepsake, meant to be displayed on a shelf rather than hidden in a cupboard, and the cards are played as is, with no need to slip them into sleeves.

The game is by Seiji Kanai, who also designed Wizards Cup (FR).
