In Intrigue (FR), players control powerful Renaissance families trying to gain wealth and influence through their advisors. The challenge? Space inside rival castles is limited, and nobody plans to share power fairly. To survive in this world of elegant corruption and calculated manipulation, players must negotiate, flatter, lie, and sometimes betray at exactly the right moment.

This negotiation board game thrives on player interaction. Conversations around the table quickly become the real battlefield as secret deals, bribes, threats, and temporary alliances shape every round. Players attempt to place their advisors in the most profitable positions, but in Intrigue, no promise is truly binding if breaking it creates a better opportunity. After five rounds, the player with the most money wins the game.
