Heat - Pedal to the Metal: Rocky Roads (EN)

Heat: Rocky Roads is an expansion for Heat: Pedal to the Metal that takes you to two new racing locations: South Africa and Germany. Desert heat, loose gravel and tight chicanes push your driving skills to the limit. Every corner demands precise speed management and smart Heat control.

On the South Africa track, many spaces feature gravel. At the end of your turn, if your car is on one of those spaces, you must pay 1 Heat if your engine contains Heat cards. In Germany, newly built chicanes made of two consecutive corner lines with the same speed limit create technical sections that become even more dynamic when combined with the Weather and Road Conditions module.

The expansion also introduces Aggressive Legends, allowing AI drivers to cross an additional Corner Line if they start their turn on a marked space. Races become tighter and more unpredictable.

A major addition is the Extra Slipstream symbol, enabling you to chain slipstream moves if your position allows it. This extra movement does not increase your speed but can dramatically change the race order when combined with upgrades and weather bonuses. It adds depth and excitement to this strategic racing game.

Rocky Roads also includes the 1966 Championship season with 4 new Event cards, advanced Upgrade cards, Sponsorship cards, and the Sliding Skirts innovation to surprise opponents on long straights.
