Cover Your Assets is a fast-paced card game where players compete to build the most valuable fortune. The goal is simple: be the first player to accumulate one million dollars in assets while protecting your growing collection from rival thieves.

Players create matching pairs of asset cards such as jewels, piggy banks, classic cars and other valuable treasures. Each pair is stacked crosswise on top of previous sets, forming a tower that protects everything underneath.

However, the top set of your pile is always at risk. Opponents can attempt to steal it by playing a matching asset card or a wild card such as Silver or Gold. You may defend your set with a matching card from your hand, leading to an escalating back-and-forth challenge between players.

Every challenge increases the value of the contested set, because all cards used during the duel are added to the winning pile. Timing your attacks and protecting your best assets becomes a key part of the strategy.

Cover Your Assets is perfect for players who enjoy family card games with lots of interaction and playful rivalry. Easy to learn but surprisingly strategic, it works well with mixed groups of kids, teens and adults.

Interesting fact: the success of Cover Your Assets led to several spin-off games, including Cover Your Cookies and Cover Your Kingdom, which adapt the same core mechanics to new themes.
