In a magic-infused Victorian era, industrialization threatens to sever ties to the Mystical Dimension. Within her extraordinary library, the Chimerium, Archmage Sapphia Lorekeeper safeguards the knowledge required to create Chimeras. As a Guild magician, you must shape these wondrous creatures from imagination and chaos to revitalize a fading world. Chimerium is a dice management and area majority game with great strategic depth, in both competitive and solo play.

On your turn, you use your dice to study creatures, acquire Artifacts, or target a location in the Nexus to release your Chimeras. Your gems and scrolls let you modify the value of your dice and trigger powerful chain reactions in your laboratory, so you can build a true combo engine. Timing is crucial: to release a Chimera at the perfect moment, you must draft a die of the right value or use your elixirs to rotate the Nexus. Every choice shifts your standing in the majority battles: adapt your strategy, watch your opponents and win the favor of the Guild.

Chimerium is for you if you love strategy games where you must optimize every action, chain combos and anticipate other players' moves. If you enjoy dice management challenges and area majority showdowns in a fantasy universe, you should feel right at home in this laboratory.

Chimerium plays with 1 to 4 players. The solo mode pits you against Archmage Sapphia Lorekeeper, whose automa deck offers varied behaviors and difficulty levels for near-endless replayability.

This bundle includes the base game and 4 neoprene playmats. Each playmat replaces the cardboard Laboratory board of the corresponding player and features a smooth playing surface with a non-slip rubber base.

Chimerium was designed by Eric Dubus and Olivier Mélison, with illustrations by Alexandre Bonvalot.
