Once upon a time, a powerful wizard grew so tired he fell asleep at the top of his tower, surrounded by treasures he barely watches anymore. In Adventurers Required (FR), you become a guild's recruiter and must assemble, round after round, the best team of adventurers to sneak in and grab the loot. Here's the twist: you never see your own cards, only everyone else's around the table! You have to read the clues, guess what the others know about your hand, and build a team of four adventurers quiet enough to stay under the noise limit. Bards, shapeshifters, thieves and other colorful characters each carry their own noise level: some cancel each other out, others make an even bigger racket, and you'll need to combine them wisely to keep things silent... or risk waking the wizard. After five rounds spent exploring the tower's floors and gathering treasure, whoever has amassed the biggest haul wins.

Adventurers Required (FR) is designer Bethany Linder's very first published game, and she illustrated every single character herself, a rare feat in the board game world. The game belongs to the GreenLine collection, designed with a lighter environmental footprint in mind. Its hidden-hand twist, where you never see your own cards, makes it a one-of-a-kind social deduction experience, where reading everyone else becomes your best tool for cracking the wizard's tower.
