Vikings : Raid & Conquer (pré-joué) (EN)

The games in the L'As des jeux Bazar are pre-played games. They have been inspected by one of our game experts and are certified "Complete." You may find some minor imperfections, such as light wear on the box or on certain game components.

Inspired by the TV series Vikings, Vikings: Raid & Conquer turns you into a future legend of the North in a strategic deck-building card game. You play one of five characters from the show: Ragnar, Lagertha, Rollo, Floki or Bjorn. For the first four rounds it is winter: you build your deck by recruiting warriors, gathering hacksilver and fitting out your longboats. Once spring arrives, everything changes. Each player secretly picks an action on their character shield, then the plans are revealed: defend, attack a rival, join a raid party or go on a solo raid. Alliances are shaky and betrayals are brutal, so the big question is whether you share the plunder or keep it all.

The game ends when a player has collected 5 Raid cards, but beware: that does not mean they win! Everyone counts their Legend points from treasures and raids, and the most legendary player becomes the Viking king.

Vikings: Raid & Conquer is for you if you are a fan of the series, if you enjoy card games where you build your own deck and if you relish negotiation, backstabbing and big swings around the table. Plan on about an hour per game, for 2 to 5 players.
