Gather your team around the table for a challenge as tasty as it is tricky: Linkto Cuisine (FR) invites food lovers to join forces and crack the secrets of the culinary world. The idea sounds simple: link each of the 49 Clue cards to one of the 50 Word cards laid out in front of you, in this cooperative word game. Each clue hides five levels of difficulty, from the most obvious to the most twisted, all drawn from the world of food: ingredients, dishes, utensils and tasty expressions. Only one Word card will remain unlinked at the end of the round - that's the famous key card, revealing whether your team got it right. Easy to learn but tough to master, Linkto Cuisine gets trickier as you climb the five levels of difficulty, turning every round into a true group brain-teaser. A competitive mode is also included for groups who would rather race each other instead of working together.
Linkto Cuisine is for you if you love games that run on collective deduction and there's nothing you enjoy more than a lively debate to find the right link between two ideas. It will please foodies and families alike who want a game that's quick to set up, whether played in a small group or a big one of up to ten players. If you like games that grow more challenging with every round without ever feeling repetitive, Linkto Cuisine is bound to become a staple of your game nights.
Fun fact: this game from home has traveled around the world. Linkto Cuisine has been translated and sold under dozens of different names, from the Italian "Match Up! Food" to the Hungarian "Kapcsolj! Konyhamuveszet," along with Dutch, German, Spanish and even Chinese versions - solid proof that word-association games translate well no matter the language. The concept is also part of a larger Linkto family, where each box explores a different theme (earth, travel, animals), all built on the same wonderfully addictive idea.
Linkto Cuisine was designed by Joel Gagnon and Marie-Eve Lupien, the duo behind several other entries in the series, including Linkto Terre and Linkto Voyage, with artwork by Polly Lindsay. Their knack for building unexpected bridges between words shows up in every Linkto box, no matter the theme.
