Bubblee Pop drops players into a universe of planets frozen in an eternal season, where small round, colorful creatures float through the sky before slowly falling, pulled down by gravity. Two planets face each other, separated by a sky filled with multicolored bubbles called Bubblees. On their turn, each player drops two Bubblees at a time onto their own planet, trying to line up three or more bubbles of the same color, horizontally or vertically. Every successful line sends the Bubblees safely into the score zone and triggers a power tied to their color: swapping bubbles on the opponent's planet, sending one over to their side, or simply boosting your score. Bubbles that then tumble down can trigger a chain reaction, revealing new lines in cascade. Easy to explain but wonderfully tense, this head-to-head duel game calls for logic, anticipation and cool nerves: a planet that's too full means immediate defeat.

You'll probably love Bubblee Pop if you're into fast-paced puzzle games where every move counts, a bit like a bubble-matching game brought to life on a real board. The tension of facing off, the sneaky little setups, and the instant satisfaction of watching a chain reaction clear several lines at once will win over fans of short, nervy duels. Easy to bring out for about thirty minutes, it fits just as well into a party game night as into a quick match between two players itching to compete.

The game offers three difficulty levels adjustable right at setup, simply by varying the number of black Bubblees placed on each planet, a clever touch that lets the challenge grow along with the players' experience. Each of the six Bubblee colors has its own optional power, adding a nice dose of replayability to a game that still fits in a small box. Bubblee Pop even got a sequel, Bubblee Pop: Level Up!, which adds new colors and new powers to the adventure.

Bubblee Pop was created by Grégory Oliver, with the colorful, expressive illustrations of the Bubblees drawn by Alexey Rudikov, giving this bubble-filled universe all its charm.
